Serene area when there's no construction. nthe new additions should be amazing, especially the new tree line which should provide much needed shade
Love this new park. Has some small elevated spots on the playground my kids love to run up and down. Tennis courts also lined for Pickle ball. Will be accessible once road construction complete, for now come from Roosevelt side.
Great park, close to Roosevelt rd businesses. Swings & standard equipment with a nice fence on three sides. Backs up to a baseball field with a nice grass area for the kids to run around and be maniacs.
Downside: gets very busy during ball games, "big kids" take over and it's not a great place for the littles when that happens.
The kids love the newly redone park and tennis courts. A good quiet spot in south oak park
Kids love this park now, after total remodeling. Like that there is a fence and water fountain. Nice tennis court too.
UPDATE: the Park got total renovation this summer! Lots more seating for parents, rubber ground stuff instead of mulch, separate big and little kid structures, cool built in hills, nice fence. And we finally got a water fountain!!
Ice cream truck makes the rounds in the late spring/early summer.
